JNPT Port Visit, Mumbai

On 23rd July 2025, the Export Import Leadership Institute by Viral Shah (EILI) organized an industrial exposure visit to Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNPT), Mumbai, for candidates from the Mumbai batch.
This visit was planned to give students first-hand exposure to India’s largest container port, helping them understand how export-import operations function in real-world trade environments.
During the visit, participants observed:
- Live container terminal operations
- Export and import cargo movement processes
- Port-level documentation and coordination flow
- Role of shipping lines, terminal operators, and customs authorities
- Practical execution of international shipment handling
- Infrastructure and technology used in modern port logistics
The experience helped candidates connect their classroom learning with actual port operations and understand the scale, discipline, and coordination required in global trade execution.
The visit enabled candidates to observe live export operations, helping them understand the practical challenges faced in international trade execution.
